obviously, the disadvantage of waiting too long to post about my favorite trend is that at a certain point there's nothing left to say. so much has been written about this deservedly praised collection. I, of course, was predisposed to like it in spite of its prettiness because I'm a fool for lace (not for wearing lace. just for lace).
even though this seems to confirm that everything beautiful has already been done, it does it in a hopeful way.
I didn't dig the leopard prints in this context, though. A joke? Um, ok, but no.
this would look great on a sunny white-sand beach.
ReplyDeleteyou think?
ReplyDeletethe inspiration for this was Sicillian wedding paraphernalia, like the stuff a bride might have in her chest.
i think it would look great in a busy urban landscape. these clothes probably come together with a silvery white halo that follows you around.
i would wear the fifth one. for my birthday, let's say.
ReplyDeleteoh, good, cause i'm sending you something of the kind. but don't get your hopes too high..it's 'of the kind' in a certain respect. and it'll reach you later than your birthday, sorry.
ReplyDeletewell, hopefully there'll be another birthday at which i can attach the kind to myself. :)
ReplyDeleteoh, your hopes I too high already. i doubt you'll be tempted to attach it to yourself in any literal way.
ReplyDeleteoh hell, i'll attach it metaphorically. ;)
